Удочка
Для начала вам нужна удочка, Они отличаются грэйдами и ценами (соответственно) ^^ ,также они нуждаются в сосках разных уровней. Разница между ними очевидно регулирует количество урона, наносимого вами рыбе.

Наживки
Теперь насчет наживок, они бывают трех разных цветов: желтого, зеленого, фиолетового. Каждая из них бывает трех уровней — низкого, среднего, высокого. Разница между уровнями в том, что наживка высокого уровня имеет немного больший шанс подсечь более ценную рыбу, а также увеличивает скорость клёва.
Также существует три типа приманок для новичков. Они обладают интерестным свойством — они будут показывать вам какой скилл использовать (смотрите [Как рыбачить]) когда вы рыбачите с их помощью. Обратная сторона медали заключается в том, что с их помощью вы сможете поймать лишь плохенькую рыбку. Сначала приобретите штук 20 таких приманок и попробуйте порыбачить на них. Все удочки используют одни и те же приманки, следовательно на высших уровнях рыбалка будет более дешевой.

Свойства наживок:
Наживки предназначены для того, чтоб помочь вам поймать определённый вид рыбы (уродливую, шуструю или жирную). Как следует из их описания, зелёная предназначена для поимки более шустрой, жёлтая — более мерзкой, и фиолетовая — более жирной рыбы. Хотя мои личные наблюдения это не подтвердили.
После использования 30 наживок каждого вида, я мог похвастаться следующим уловом:
Green: 54% Ugly, 31% Nimble, 15% Fat
Yellow: 41% Ugly, 9% Nimble, 50% Fat
Purple: 28% Ugly, 32% Nimble, 40% Fat
Соулшоты для рыбалки
Фактически это тоже самое что и обычные соулшоты, они удваивают урон, наносимый рыбе.
Будьте осторожны, если вы сделаете неправильное движение во время ловли рыбы (смотрите [Как рыбачить]), соулшот удвоит эффект лечения рыбы. Я вобще не рекомендую их использовать просто так — только для ловли рыбы, которую действительно трудно поймать. Вы не можете автоматизировать их использование (как в случае с обычными соулшотами) . Если вы используете no-grade удочку, вам нужны no-grade соулщоты . Для получения соулшотов вы должны выполнить квест, описаный ниже ([ Квест: Quest for Fishing Shot]).
Умения (скиллы)
Вы также нуждаетесь в скиллах рыбалки, они не требуют SP (хух…) но стоят денег. Вы можете купить их у NPC — Fisherman Gude. Выберите «Please teach me to fish» и в меню вы получите скиллы.
Для рыбалки вам нужно 4 скилла — Рыбалка (Fishing), Подсечка (Pumping), Вытягивание (Reeling), и Рыбная Экспертиза (Fishing Expertise).
Рыбалка (Fishing) — это активный скилл и левел 1 -это всего лишь обозначение. Остальные три имеют много левелов.

Fishing expertise определяет цвет рыбы и уровень монстров, которых вы вылавливаете.

Level 1-3: Green fish (Small, normal, Big)
Level 4-6: Jade fish (Small, normal, Big)

Например, Small Jade Ugly Fish — 4-го уровня (так же как и Small Jade Nimble fish, Small Jade Fat fish и т.д.).
В общем, около 50% рыбы которую вы поймаете будет того же уровня, что и ваш уровень Экспертизы, более 45% будет на 1 уровень ниже, и около 5% будет на 1 уровень выше. Реже вы можете поймать рыбу выше или ниже на 2 уровня.
Pumping & Reeling
Высокие уровни этих скиллов наносят больший урон рыбе каждый раз, когда вы используете их, также время их речарджа немного уменьшается с каждым уровнем.
Ещё одна вещь, которую надо запомнить — никогда не допускайте, чтоб уровень скиллов Pumping и Reeling был более чем на 3 уровня выше, чем уровень Fishing expertise — в этом случае вы будете получать 5% пенальти (наносимый урон будет на 5% ниже) за каждый уровень.

Например, прокачка Fishing Expertise с 4 до 5 уровня требует 500a. В третей колонке приводится общая стоимость достижения данного уровня — например, для того чтобы прокачать Pumping с 0-го до 8-го уровня, надо 6,060a.

Как рыбачить
Это довольно просто, если вы новичок, я рекомендую вам использовать наживки для начинающих так как они показывают иконку скилла, который вам надо использовать, так вы быстро научитесь понимать образ мышления рыбы.
Вы должны найти глубоководную область (это любая область, где отображается индикатор дыхания, когда вы в ней находитесь). У вас должны быть следующие кнопки на хотбаре: Fishing, Pumping и Reeling.
Если вы выполнили квест на соски для рыбалки, вы также можете захотеть поместить и их на хотбар. Также вы возможно захотите использовать кнопку для вашего основного оружия и некоторых скиллов, наносящих урон, на тот случай, если выловите монстра.
Станьте на кромке берега лицом к глубокому месту. Далее используйте скилл ’Fishing’ и ваш чар начнёт рыбачить. Вы увидете всплывающее окошко с изображением вашего поплавка.
Теперь всё что осталось сделать — это выловить рыбку с помощью скиллов Reeling и Pumping.
Есть несколько способов определить, какой из скиллов использовать. Один из них — набюдать за движениями поплавка, но это довольно мудрёный способ. Я определил, что лучший способ — наблюдать за HP рыбы и игнорировать всё остальное:
* если линейка HP рыбы не двигается — Pumping
* если линейка HP рыбы потихоньку регенерится — Reeling
Если вы используете правильный скилл, рыбка лишится определённого количества хп.
Однако, если вы используете неправильный скилл, рыбка наоборот немного отхилится.
Если вы сможете довести хп рыбы до 0 прежде чем закончится время, вы поймаете её.
Это почти всё, что касается данной темы. Научиться рыбачить займёт у вас немного времени, может час или два и вы поймете что это очень просто.
Места рыбалки
Не имеет значения, где ловить рыбу. Рыба и монстры полностью зависят от вашей сноровки и уровня скиллов персонажа. Подходит любое глубокое место, где появляется полоса дыхания.
Монстры
Помните, что вы можете выудить монстров, но это не так плохо как кажется. Когда вы убиваете их, они часто дропают что-либо — включая рыбьи соушоты или наживки для рыбалки . Но вы должны быть готовы атаковать их, они могут появится в любое время, когда вы рыбачите.
Монстры, которых вы вылавливаете, похоже зависят от уровня вашего персонажа; они обычно либо зелёные, либо жёлтые.
POCF награды
POCF=Proof of Catching a Fish
Итак, существует несколько наград, которые вы можете получить, когда ловите рыбу. Вы можете получить common craft materials (ресурсы для рецептов Коммон крафта). А также кейматы, Proof of Catching a Fish и монстров.
Когда вы поймаете рыбу, вы можете даблкликнуть на ней чтобы «открыть» её. Существует 50% вероятности фэйла «открытия» рыбы ^^ помните это. Квест: Quest for Fishing Shot
Итак, этот квест похоже единственный, который можно выполнять с первого до 78-го левела.
Лучше всего, если он будет открыт у вас постоянно, поскольку он предполагает убийство огромного количества разных монстров. Я перечислю все регионы и всех монстров, которых нужно килять и также перечислю награды. В качестве наград выдаются соски для рыбалки разных уровней.

Fishing Related Quests (Квесты) — на англ. языке
There is a fishing shot quest given by all the fishermen (or at least the one in aden)… its very useful because it gives free fishing shots for just hunting mobs all over the world.
Before attempting any of the Special Bait quests (there are 4 of them), suspend your sweet fluid quest because it will make the quest item drop rate horrific.
Lanosco’s Special Bait Level 27-29 (written by HellWitch — Hindemith)
1. Go to the Grocery Store in Dion. Talk with Fisher Guildsmen Lanosco.
2. He tells you to bring him 100 essences of wind. Hunt Singing Winds (none of the other winds there seems to drop it) in the Windy Hill (near the Dusk Oracle) until you get 100 quest items..
3. Return to Lanosco in Dion. He gives you 4 Wind Fishing Lures as a reward and you can start Chest Caught with the Bait of Wind quest.
Chest Caught With a Bait of Wind Level 27-29 (written by HellWitch — Hindemith)
1. Lanosco says he’s looking for a large blue treasure box. He also tells you that your fishing experience has to be excactly lvl 9.
2. Someone said best results on this quest is by fishing near Gludio, so I went near Gludio (exit for Looting Area of Evil Spirits) and started fishing there, under the bridge. I got 2 big blue treasure chests, 1 blue treasure chest and 1 small blue treasure chest (I think if u don’t miss a single shot on the fish u only get big blue ones, but I’m not gonna do the quest again to confirm it lol). Since I had 25 lures on me (purple high grade), I did some more fishing to waste them, and got 1 more big blue treasure chest, and one regular blue treasure chest. So apparently you can get the quest item without using the special lure, although you can’t start the quest if u dont have the special lure hehe.
3. After giving him 1 big blue treasure chest, he will give you a strange golem blueprint which you have to deliver to blueprint seller Shaling in Dion. The Reward is a Black Pearl Ring (d grade)
O’Fulle’s Special Bait Level 36-38 (written by HellWitch — Hindemith)
1. Go to the Grocery Store in Giran. Talk with Fisher Guildsman O’Fulle.
2. He tells you to bring him (what a surprise) 100 quest items. Hunt Fettered Souls in Death Pass untill you get 100 items.
3. Return to O’Fulle in Giran. He gives you 4 Icy Fishing Lures as a reward and you can start Chest Caught with the Bait of Icy Air quest.
Chest Caught With a Bait of Icy Air Level 36-38 (written by HellWitch — Hindemith)
1. O’Fulle says he’s looking for a large yellow treasure box. He also tells you that your fishing experience has to be excactly lvl 12 for best results.
2. I just went fishing on the northern bridge in Giran and I got 2 yellow treasure chests and 1 big yellow treasure chest (one bait was lost .. fish didnt bite dammit lol).
3. After giving him 1 big yellow treasure chest, he will give you a Kiki’s Letter which you have to deliver to Mineral Trader Kiki in Giran. The Reward is an Elven Ring (D grade)
Quest for Bait of Earth Level 48 (written by Licantrop — Teon)
1. Go to the Grocery Store in Oren. Talk with Fisher Guildsmen Willie.
2. He tells you to hunt Tarlk Basilisk in the Forest of Outlaws and bring him 100 Quest items «Eye of the Basilisk. (Tarlk Basilisk Level 50 passiv, Elder Tarlk Basilisk Level 51 agro)
3. Hunt the Tarlk Basilisk until you have 100 items and return to Willie. I would recommend to suspend the sweet fluid quest whilst getting this quest items, as it slows down the drop rate a lot.
4. He gives you 4 Bait of the Earth as a reward and you can start the follow-up quest now.
Quest: Chest caught with Bait of Earth Level 48 (written by Licantrop — Teon)
1. Willie tells you to fish for a small purple treasure chest and to bring it to him unopened. He also tells you that your fishing experience has to be excactly lvl 16.
2. Go fishing and bring the small purple treasure chest to him (i got 2 orange chests and 2 purple ones with this bait).
3. He gives you a Quest item in return which you have to deliver to Anabel in Heine. She gives you Plated Leather Gloves as a reward.
